Latika Chaudhary

Latika Chaudhary is an Associate Professor at the Naval Postgraduate School in California, U.S.A. Her research studies different parts of the colonial Indian economy ranging from education and railways to credit markets. She has published on comparative and South Asian economic history in leading economic history journals, and is the co-editor of A New Economic History of Colonial India (2016). She is also co-editor of the forthcoming, Cambridge Economic History of Modern South Asia (Forthcoming, 2026).
