Yasua Takatsuki

Yasuo Takatsuki is an Associate Professor at the Research Institute for Economics and Business Administration, Kobe University, Japan, and will assume the position of Professor at the Graduate School of Economics, Osaka University, in April 2026. He specializes in the economic and financial history of early modern Japan, particularly the Dōjima Rice Exchange in Osaka, which developed during the Tokugawa period (1603–1868). His recent work includes studies of financial networks and domanial finance in early modern Japan.
